General & Family Physician, Dr. Taimoor's Response
Hi and welcome to ehealthdesk I'm Dr. Taimur and I will be addressing your health concerns. I have read your question and understand your concern. It is quite common to have light headedness after a spinal tap procedure, even some patients experience mild to moderate headache. There is no need to worry about this. . All he needs is to have some rest and avoid driving, machinery work etc. Second this is check his blood pressure, as light headedness may be due to low blood pressure, in which case you should give him more fluids. I hope this might be of some help, if you have any query feel free to ask me any time. Thanks. Dr. Taimur
