Is Light Orange-colored Bleeding Normal After Artificial Insemination?
Good day, I went for a AI (artificial insemenation) on 17 June, my last perioud started on 06 June. I have started with very little bleeding yesterday but is Orange in colour. This is my 4th Insemenation. I am a bit scared to test again to say it is Negative. This is the second day I am having the light bleeding, orange in colour. Please advise.
Spotting can happen with normal pregnancy and also in the case when something is not going well. 20% of early pregnancies bleed and half of these go on normally.
To know for sure what is going on in your case, you will need to be followed up with BHCG levels in the blood. In a normal pregnancy BHCG increases with at least 60% in 2 days.
Regular checks and blood tests will guide your doctor in the exact diagnosis as to what is happening in your case.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General and Family Physician
