Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a synovial cyst removed L5-S1 about 3 months ago. I am completely out of back pain. I have been going to physical therapy for 2 months. I am walking with a limp. No one has the answer as to why. I am frustrated. Is this a common thing with this kind of surgery.
Limp is not common after cyst removal surgery. I will advise to consult your doctor and physiotherapist. Proper gait training may help you. I will advise EMG NCV[nerve conduction study]
