I am 53 years old with mild emphysema, and overweight, recently I have had lymph node pain and shortness of breath. I do not have heart disease, have not had surgery. The results are: linear atelectasis in the anteromedial right upper liver and middle love. Mild inferior lingual atelectasis Mild gravity dependant changes

Hi,

There is lung collapse in some parts of the lung.

But as there are lymph nodes, it is to be taken seriously.

Just avoid smoking till further tests as lymph node biopsy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi,
General & Family Physician
