Is Lipitor Responsible For Itching In The Groin Or Vaginal Area?
I have been taking Lipitor for 6 weeks and noticed one of the side effects listed for those experiencing pre diabetes symptoms is itching in the groin or vaginal area. I have been experiencing some of this. Would this be a reason for concern in continuing to take it or would you recommend swathing meds?
With the presenting symptoms infection of the reproductive tract and UTI as to be ruled out. I would advice my patient to relevant blood and urine test with the advice of a venerologist. In my opinion not need to change Atrvostatin. Secondly screening for diabetes may be needed if the symptoms are recurrent.
