General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the long terms use of estrogen pathces are having significant number of possible ill effects as:
- High blood sugar
- Raised serum calcium level
- High blood pressure
- Chances of liver tumors and cancer
- Sun exposure sensitivity
- Uterine pathology in case of vaginal application
Kindly discuss the immediate need of cessation with your consultant OBGYN or physician for further guidelines.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
