Is Low Energy, Headaches, Back And Neck Pain Related To Chest Injury?

a few days ago I was impacted with a hard object just under, right in between my breasts. (esophagus?) the next day and since (on my 4th day) I have had the chills (under blankets in +30 weather doesn t seem right) low energy, headaches, back and neck pain etc. I am 52 yrs old, female, 5.2 , 135 lbs. Should I be concerned I damaged something which would be causing this or would your guess be just a flu bug at the same time. Coincidence? No vomiting but no appetite. No blood in stool.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, possibility of flu infection coinciding with chest trauma is more in your case.
But better to rule out internal lung injury because you are having low energy, headache, back and neck pain etc.
So get done chest x ray to rule out lung contusions, pneumothorax etc.
If chest x ray is normal then no need to worry for lung injury.
Take antihistamine and anti inflammatory drugs. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated. Do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
All these will help in recovery from flu.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
