Is Lymphnode Swelling In The Throat Caused By Laryngitis Serious?
A lymph node in the right front of my throat has been swollen for seven years. It's about 3 cm. It swelled during a bad sore throat and laryngitis and never went completely back down. It has not enlarged beyond its original size increase. My doctor ordered an ultrasound and now a CT scan. I am 62 and male. Cause for alarm?
Hi and thanks for the query. If the lymph node has remained of the same size and consistency for the past seven years then there is no reason to worry. Take care, Dr Kishori
