Is Marijuana Smoking Safe While Being On Doxycycline And Metronidazole?

Hi. I ve recently been in hospital and treated for PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) and also found out I tested positive for Chlamydia. I m on Doxycycline 100mg and Metronidazole (flagyl) 400mg both two times a day with food. I m a marijuana smoker and was wondering, medically if it is safe to smoke while taking these antibiotics. I ve read a lot of different opinions and while they re all sound, they re not medical facts. Once I know the risks etc I can make my own informed decision. Any help or advice given would be greatly appreciated. I was treated for 3 days intravenously in hospital with these anti biotics and am now on the oral medication and have been for about 2 days. Thanks again.

It's a bit of a low dose of the two. There isn't a lot of effect of marijuana on other medications. There might be (slight) increased liver metabolism of the drugs and at low doses maybe that matters but it's doubtful there enough of an effect to matter.
