Is Marital Life Advisable For A Person Suffering With Epilepsy?

Hi Doctor, I am a guy of 25 yrs of age, I am suffering from epilepsy for last 4 years. I suffered my last 2 fits on same day in Feb, 2015. I am about to see a girl for marriage,I am unable to decide, how should I disclose my problem to her. I am 2 eptoin 100 mg on day and 2 on night dosage for last 4 years.

there is no reason that you should doubt your ability of being a good and happily married person.

it is best to inform the lady directly without preamble or going round the point about your illness and i am sure she would be supportive and understanding, not doing so will be unfair to her and also dishonest which is not the best way to start a relationship.

if you are worried about your married life please be assured the medications you take or the illness either of them do not effect any aspect of married life

in the lighter vein even Julius Caesar had epilepsy and he was the ruler of rome a much married man with heirs and won many battles as well
