Is Measles A Recurring Infection?
When I was in grade school, several times I got ill and the doctor said I had the measles.I remember being told that German measles were a one-time thing but that there were other types that one could have again and again.I tell people about my history and they think I couldn t have had measles more than once.What is correct???

it is very rare to have recurrence of measles or german measles(rubella)
first attack by the virus brings immunity in the infected persons.vaccines for above two also work on same principle..
vaccines are available for measles and rubella as a combination MMR vaccine along with mumps vaccine.
it is very very rare to have a recurrence/ second attack of measles
