Is Medical Or Surgical Abortion Safe For Patient With Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma?
I m almost 8 weeks pregnant and I m going to have an abortion. I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma two years ago but I refused surgery and radioactive iodine, I took alternative treatments instead. I m wondering whether medical or surgical abortion would safest. I also have bronchial asthma and I m concerned with going under anesthesia.
As you are only 8 weeks pregnant you OBGYN will most probably resort to medical abortion. This would not need anaesthesia. But you have to approach your OBGYN as soon as possible
