Is Medication For Vaginal Infection Safe To Treat Penis Infection?

My Partner and I had sex the other day and later that day she started having itching inside her vagina and has a yeast infection. Today, i noticed that the head of my penis was really itchy and red and had very small red bumps on the head. I m pretty sure that this is a penile yeast infection because she was tested for STDs just a month ago and everything came back negative. What is a good way to treat a penile yeast infection. I read that i can sure the same cream that women use for a vaginal yeast infection, however, i wanted to make sure it was safe to put that right on the head of my penis before i do so. Thanks!!

Hello,

Yes, you can use Clotrimazole cream the same as your partner cream. But if you not feel better you should see a doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
