General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. White curd like appearance can be most likely due to yeast infection. This can be due to after effect of antibiotic therapy. A swab test will be helpful to rule out this. Using clotrimazole cream locally will be helpful to clear this. This is available in brands like monistat as over the counter. If still not helping then oral antifungals alike fluconazole wil be needed. Using intimate wash daily will be helpful to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by prevent getting such infections frequently. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
