Is Memory Issue Related To Barrett S Condition?
Hi , I have been diagnosed with Barrett condition. I have been on medication for past 4 mce. The retest is going to happen in April. My question is ; Is memory issue related to this ? I cancer the next step (melanoma malignant survival) this chronic condition qualifies me for disability ? Thank you

No Barrett's esophagus does not affect memory.
Yes Barrett's esophagus is a premalignant condition. Over a period of many years it can lead to esophageal cancer.
You need to undergo surveillance endoscopy to assess the status of Barrett's esophagus. the periodicity depends on the degree of abnormal cells found in the biopsy specimen.
