Is Memory Loss Occurred After A Flare Up Of Encephalitis Completely Curable?

my granddaughter with infected with spiral encephalitis at the age of 10/12 she was on critical for 3 days according to medical doctors she recovered with lost of short term memory please tell me will she be able to live normally or she*ll forever live short term memory lost?

The outcome varies. Some cases are mild and short, and the person fully recovers. Other cases are severe, and permanent impairment or death is possible.
But as you said, that doctors says she is recovering...it shows that the inflammation is is getting cured. Once the inflammation in gone completely..she will be alright and back to normal.
