Is Metallic Taste In Mouth Normal After Fess Surgery?
Hi, I had fess surgery and a turbinate removal on Monday 28th April. Since then I have felt quite sick with a metallic taste in my mouth. Is this expected? I also have dissolvable packing in so thought this May simple be everything dissolving and moving from the nose/throat? Thanks
Yes it is normal to have the metallic taste in the mouth after fess and this can be due to many reasons like the pack inside the nose or the medications that you may be on.This generally needs no treatment and will recover in another week , please dont worry!
Thanks
