Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. Migraine is a vascular type of headache occurs due to changes in blood vessels but exact cause of this headache is not known. Though there are no curative management available for migraine but with proper medicines and therapies it can be treated successfully and can be prevented.
In migraine attacks medicines like Amitriptyline, Nortriptyline, Sodium Valproate etc are used commonly. For severe migraine attacks medicines like Sumatriptan, Naprxen when used on SOS basis result in improvement. Medicines as Propranolol etc are used to prevent attacks when patient is stabilised. Visit a doctor for proper help.
Apart from this avoiding caffeinated drinks, carbonated drinks help a lot. Try to sleep at least 7-8 hours sound sleep and this will also prevent the attacks. While moving out wear sunglasses and this will also help you. Keep proper precautions and you will see improvement.
Thanks. I hope this helps you. Take care
