Is Mild Abdominal Pain During Pregnancy A Cause For Concern?
Good afternoon. I m 35 weeks pregnant. And Last night, I got slightly hit by the grocery cart on the upper right part of my belly. Just a Little beLow my breast. It is slightly painful still up until now. My baby still makes movements though I am worried that it might have an effect on my baby. Thank you.
Smallest doubt should be cleared during the period of pregnancy and you have done the best thing by raising concern over it. Irrespective of the level of pain I would suggest you pay a short visit to your doctor and mention this incidence to her. As the baby is moving and there is no big discomfort you are feeling currently but you are in the third trimester of pregnancy and it's better to get the baby checked by the doctor.
Once the doctor checks and assures you of all is well. You can stay relaxed and free of this doubt from your head till your enxt visit to the doctor and till labour. If the pain is there then the doctor can give you some medicine if required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar,
