Is Mild Testicular Discomfort And Tightness Common With Gastroenteritis?

Hi, I m a 25 year old male who was recently (4 days ago) diagnosed with gastroenteritis. I spent a few hours in the ER after being sick for 3 days (so I ve been sick for a week in total), receiving an IV and an assortment of tests including a CT of my abdomen, CBC with DIFF, comprehensive metabolic panel (non-fasting), lipase, and a macroscopic urinalysis. Everything came back normal and I was told I have gastroenteritis. My symptoms include nausea, vomiting (which has gotten better over the past couple days), diarrhea, mild fever that comes and goes, and just some aches and pains associated with being sick. The thing that is concerning me is that I ve had some discomfort in my testicles since I ve been sick. The pain isn t severe, in fact it s very mild, but I ve noticed that they re staying contracted (or tight, like as if I was really cold). I ve read online that it s a pretty common symptom of gastroenteritis, but I m still stressing about it. I imagine the anxiety is just making it worse, so I was hoping to get some clarity. I ve also had some mild abdominal pain, mostly lower close to my pelvis, and some mild lower back pain. I believe these are also just symptoms from being sick in general and not eating much for the past week. My main concerns are about my testicles though.
