What Causes Vaginal Spotting While Suffering From Gastroenteritis?
Hi, yesterday i was diagnosed with viral gastroenteritis, and beginning this morning I have begun to experience light vaginal spotting of fresh blood. It isn t painful to urinate and I have no other associated symptoms. Could this be from the viral gastroenteritis?

There doesn't seem to be a direct relation between the two however, menstrual abnormalities do occur very frequently with stress. Spotting is not serious whatever is the cause, if it's not for a long time and if no other symptoms. It's common in females. However, if it worsens or you have other symptoms then you should see your doctor.
