Is Minimal Koch S Infection A Serious Cause For Concern?
Hi, i recently have an x-ray for employment medical reqirements. The result was Minimal Koch s infection, left upper lobe. I asked my Doctor if i need to take any medication, but he said that no need to take medicine, really i have a cough that time. He told me to return after 6 months for another X-ray. Can it affect my application for a job? Thank you. Please help me.
Hi Thanks for such delicate question . I want to tell you that if once TUBERCULOSIS develop in the X RAY ,it will remain there forever and these are actually fibrosed ( calcified healed lesions or scars) old scars. It will remain for life long , sorry to say but this is for whole life . I don't know it will affect your job or not because now these are healed lesion i.e. practically you are not a tubercular patient but you were a tubercular patient in past ( appeared in X RAY). Good luck.
