Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is Moderate Headache On Right Temple And Behind The Eye Suggestive Of Atypical Migraine?
Good morning, I have had a moderate headache on my right temple and behind that eye for the entirety of yesterday and today it is still lingering. I have been sensitive to sounds and lights, especially rapidly changing images. I have also had a slightly raised body temperature, feeling feverish. It is hard to find information on the web, could this be atypical migraine?
The symptoms are consistent with common causes like migraine or tension headache, as a first line management you can try analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief.
If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
