Is Movable Lump In The Upper Quadrant Of Abdomen Hernia?
I am 41 years old and had my last baby three years ago. I have noticed that the last couple years I have a mobile lump in my lower right quadrant that is noticeable mainly in the morning when I wake up. I can move this lump from the lower right quadrant up to around my navel and then it moves back to its original position. It is painless, and some days it feels bigger than others. I cannot feel it standing up, only lying down. I have seen numerous doctors and some say hernia and some say diastasis recti.
It is more likely to be a hernia, but I need to physically examine it to confirm that diagnosis. But either way, I don't see the harm in it. If it seems to be bothering you physically, visually or just mentally then you can go ahead and get it surgically removed, if not, then you can choose to live with it, there is no harm in it.
Best wishes.
