Is Movement In Testicles While Extending Hips And Back Suggestive Of Nerve Damage?

I injured my lower back while weight lifting 2 months ago. Since then it s gotten better, went to an urgent care & they just gave me muscle relaxants & said no point on doing tests. But whenever I extend my hips & my lower back laying on my back in bed, my testicles jump a little bit. What s going on, do I have nerve damage down there?

Hello,

Thanks for asking a question at HCM

I will be glad to answer it for you

No it can't happen that if nerve is damaged, testicles move up during hip extension.

It may be a normal phenomenon, don't think much about it.

It can happen like any muscle contraction is little higher than before which is pulling up the testicles little higher.

Ignore it, it will get settled on it's own.

Hope this helps

Best Regards

Dr Chaithanya
