Is Mucus Like Diarrhea Which Smells Like Fish A Cause For Concern?
My 6month old has had diarrhoea since Sunday. We ve been to the docs and she said so long as she is eating and drinking not to worry. Tested stools (sample given today) as contained a lot of mucus. Now her poo smells very strongly of fish. Should I be worried?

I really appreciate your concern, such diarrheal condition and passing of stool could be due to protozoa infection condition can be managed on tentative basis with Metronidazole according to weight, hydration need to be taken care, even you can weight for some time because if this is not the infection then it will come around soon, hope this information helps.
