Is Muscle Twitching Caused Due To Fibromyalgia?

In the last week, I have fluttering in my left upper shoulder, not exactly the shoulder but the fleshy part between my shoulder and neck. I know that I have bulging disk in my left upper back around my neck area..... I just recently started taking Neurontin for Fibromyalgia as well. Could this be causing the fluttering????

Thanks you for asking this question. I have undergone through your question. I understand your concern. This is muscle twitch. Muscle twitches are fine movements of a small area of muscle. Muscle twitching is caused by minor muscle contractions in the area, or uncontrollable twitching of a muscle group that is served by a single motor nerve fiber. Muscle twitches are minor and often go unnoticed. Some are common and normal. Others are signs of a nervous system disorder & myopathy such as fibromyalgia. The cause of fluttering here is fibromyalgia. Don't worry and continue your medicine as suggested. If any complication occurs, contact your doctor.
I hope this information will help you
I wish you a good health
