Is My Arm Getting Numb Due To Implant Of Implanon?

In July of 2011 I had Implanon implanted into my left arm. About a month after I noticed that my arm would occasionally fall asleep, and then sometimes it would twitch. For this reason and a few other reasons I had the Implanon removed in October of 2011. Even though it has been a year since I had it removed my arm will still get tingly and numb from time to time, and I have noticed that recently I have been having trouble holding things in that arm/hand for extended periods of time. Could this still be somehow related the the Implanon?
