I just got my blood pressure taken and it was 154 over 93. I am 21 years old and the person was flippin out that it was too high. What can I do or do I need to do anything right now. I am very active, I am a professional tennis player, so my fitness is good. Help please.
Yes thats way too high for you...could be genetics...if your are fit and exercise...may need to take meds..which dilate/make your arteries bigger so there is not so much resistence.other meds work on a chemical that your kidney puts out which can raise Blood pressue...the med blocks this chemical.
