A large blood clot has formed in the right upper arm since 4.2.11.The clot has not formed due to any injury but appeared suddenly. There is no pain in the area of clot. The clot is fading slowly. There is no such clot anywhere in my body.

All tests which have been done are normal,a Coagulation Screen is required to detect any abnormality in coagulation system .A coagulation screen includes Activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) to measure the intrinsic pathway and the common pathway,Prothrombin time (PT) to assesse extrinsic and final common pathway of the coagulation cascade,,Thrombin time to measure the rate of clot formation compared with a normal plasma .LFT to detect hepatic cause of acquired coagulation factor deficiency.After the screen is done then only cause can be dtected.Take care!
