Is My Child An Autistic Baby Or Psychiatric Patient?
My son is an special child & he is 11ys old boy. When he was 3&1/2 y old , he attacked by NS first. Now he is fully cured. His abnormality first time find out on 26 jne 05 by the doctor(neoro) and he was treated as ASD patient when he was 5y.s old. but the doctor now says, his autism is now no more but some mental disorder. He takes as medicine tab. resperidon-1mg (at morning) 2mg(at night) +tab. cyclid-1mg& tab. epilim chromo-300mg. We are very much confused, is my child a Austistic baby or phycritic patient? So now he is under treatment by a child phycchi. doctor and the doctor given the same dose which i have mention. My querry, is any department or physicians have in the CMC? ........ please. ASD problems are never gone and and proper diagnostic tools are available to screen autism spectrum at various stages to encourage proper rehabilitation. Drugs given here to your child seems to help only for hyperactivity and I am not sure why epilium was given as it is used in fits only, I strongly recommend to see child psychiatrist and neuro developmental specialist and in CMC, Vellore or Bangalore (NIMHANS) has dedicated centers for such problems.
