Is Nasal Lavage A Safe Process?

I used a nasal lavage. It has helped, but during the lavage in my left nostril (the side that is more congested) I experienced pain in the left occipital region which could be described as similar to brain freeze . This pain ceased shortly after I finished the lavage and did not return. I have not laved again since. Is it safe to continue to lavage my sinuses?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Nasal lavage with out your doctor's advise is not safe. It can induce Nasal decongesants will help you to get relief and in case of infection antibiotics will be required. Taking vitamin C chewable form daily also will be helpful.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
