Is Nausea, spotting And Discomfort In Abdomen Symptoms Of Pregnancy?
I had my first depo shot april 21 and thats when my period was. i had PROTECTED sex may 25. I have no idea if the condom broke or not. i wasnt paying attention. I had spotting june 3-8 and i had headaches and cramps. itook a pregnancy test and it came back negative but with an EMTREMELY FAINT 2nd line. My period was late but came june 10 and lasted about 2 weeks. And then i got my next period july 12-17. I wake up kinda nauseas every morning, its normal though. i have a bubbly feeling in my abdominal area. i heard women can have bleeding throughout pregnancy which worries me. ive also been upset and stressed the past three months over a break up. so could i be pregnant?
Hi there, After having gone through your query, I am of the opinion that: 1) Normally, after depo shots, pregnancy is very rare. 2) Since you had protected sexual intercourse, chances of pregnancy are even lesser. 3) Nausea, spotting and discomfort could be indicative of pregnancy, but can also be due to the depo shots. 4) If you are worried about pregnancy, you can just get a blood test called serum beta HCG which will give accurate results. 5) You can also get an ultrasonography done for detecting pregnancy.
Hope this was helpful. Regards, Dr. Shikha Shah
