Is Negative RNA A Good Sign Of Being HIV Negative?

Hi I recently had a possible HIV exposure and I got tested two weeks 13days after incident the results came back negative ,today I have been feeling anxiety its 9th week and went in to the doc and told her if I should get tested again she looked at my results and said that they tested me with RNA? And it came out negative and that s a good chance I don t have it but for my sake they told me to wait until week 12 for some piece of mind but kept insisting I ll come back negative. My question, are RNA a good sign for a negative outcome in 12th week? Thank you

yes , RNA pcr is the accurate and specific test for the HIV, if it comes negative that means you are safe, if you still have doubts then go for one more confirmatory test p24 antigen. its just for your mental piece only. otherwise you are safe.
