23 year old, drenching night sweats every night for six months. Weight loss of 30 lbs. Previously quite healthy. Pain in right rib, right abdomen. Unable to sleep on stomach as usual. One episode of acute pain, with shock like symptoms. Normal ESR of 5. Clear ultrasound. Clear bone scan. Lump in underarm diagnosed as in grown hair. Extended ribcage on rigkinsht side. Awaiting colonoscopy. Could this still be Hodgkins?
Hello dear. You should not worry as these symptoms though alarming , but are non specific. Yes they can be associated with lymphoma or other tumors but can also be seen with chronic bacterial and fungal infections. So you need to get yourself evalauted by a good hysician. Thanks.
