Hello,
Estimation of the femur length alone as the criterion of growth arrest is not a proper procedure. This short femur may be genetic, in families with hereditary short stature. There should be an overall appraisal including BPD, abdominal circumference, fetal biophysical profile and so on. Sometimes, there may be a temporary arrest which later on is made up. So, please do not worry. Have a regular follow up, maintain the high protein diet along with plenty of fluids and take rest in left lateral position to improve placental circulation. Hope this helps.
