Is Normal Pregnancy Possible While Suffering From PCOS?

I been diagnosed with pcos last year and was prescribed metfomin and contraceptive pills. I stopped taking metfomin because it was cunfusing my cycle even worse and also stopped the contraceptive because i wanted a baby desparately. Later i went to see a homeophathic dr and she prescribed me femi script to help me to get my periods back and ease the abdominal pain. After taking femi script for 3 months,my periods were regular and the was no pain anymore. Now is been 7 months having normal periods,so i just want to know if i can be able to conceive since my periods are regular or i cant? i also want to know if the cysts can just heal in their own time without operating them?Your respond will be highly appreciated

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there. I have read through your question and will like to tell you that it is definitely possible for a patient of PCOS to conceive. You said that you stopped Metformin and contraceptive s and now your monthly cycles are regular so I would definitely advise you to try to conceive. If you are overweight , losing weight will increase your chances of conception as it helps to resolve hormonal imbalance. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write.
I find this answer helpful
