Is Only Medication Is Sufficient To Prevent A Second Heart Attack?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... hello , my father had heart attack 15 days back , he has thrombolised with in 1 1/2 hr . he has no symptoms .he is taking medicines . Plz tell me medication is sufficient for him to prevent further attack or angiography is requied. his BP is normal and has normal cholesterol .
Usually angioplasty is required after thrombolysis, because ther is some risk that the artery can be blocked again during 6 months. Anyway he should take the medications independent the fact that angioplasty is done or not.
Wishing your father good health
In case of further questions don't hesitate to ask
