Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had 2 teeth removed on my bottom row last Thursday I see my girlfriend this friday so that makes it exactly 1 week and 1 day after getting the two teeth removed and was wondering if I can give her oral sex. We are in a long distance relationship and I ll be there for the weekend.
At a period of 7 days, still there is healing process going on at the tooth extraction site.
At this period , there is very high chances of oral flora through oral sex to get transferred to open mucosal spaces and get very high possibility of transmission of infection.
It is strongly recommended that you do not indulge in the oral sex at this period and wait for 3-4 weeks of period for complete healing.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you all the best.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
