Is Orange Discoloration On The Tongue A Cause For Concern?

I was spray painting today, and i realized that as i was doing it i got the color all over my teeth and lips so i brushed them and went on with my day. But when i just woke up my tongue was orange again and this time it didn't brush off as easy. I feel fine, but now im worried. What should I do?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that due to doing spray painting without protecting your mouth and nose there has been deposition paint particles over the tongue and as the tongue surface is not smooth and is rough due to papillae therefore the pain particles have got trapped over it and it is leading to difficult removal..

Nothing to worry as it will resolve gradually with the shedding of papillae..
You should do warm saline gargles..
You should use a tongue scraper to clean your tongue..
Chew more of raw foods or fruits as it will help in cleaning the tongue with frictional action..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
