Is Orthopaedic Consultation Necessary Based On This X-ray Report?

Hi, I had back pain one month back and it went away. Last week, I had it again at lower back and consulted a doctor. He prescribe an X-ray and the report says: 1. Straightening of the lumbar lordosis 2. L5-S1 reduced disc space 3. L4-L5 & L5-S1 facet joint arthoropathy 4. Normal Sacro Itiac Joints Would I need to consult with Orthopedic? Will it be cured with excercize or I have to live with medicines?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
The very fact that the report is indicating some bone and vertebral joint abnormalities like strightening of lumbar lardosis, reduced disc space and joint arthropathy suggest that you need to consult Orthopedician.
You may require some medications and physiotherapy treatment along with exercises to overcome the problem and halt its progress.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
