Is Pain In Chin A Sign Of A Heart Attack?

Is pain in your chins both right and left a sign of a heart attack? My husband had congestive heart failure in March 2011, he survived. However, lately he's been getting these horrible chin pains in the middle of the night. I'm not sure if it's some of the medication he's taking and a possible side effect.

Emergency Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello, Thanks for contacting HCM.
In my opinion this is a sign related to heart ischemia. If he is experiencing in the middle of night - then this comes under the category of unstable angina. He definitely needs to visit a cardiologist.
It can be confirmed by getting a tablet of sorbitrate 5 mg sublingual, if the symptoms gets relieved - it is definitely an angina - pain due to heart ischemia. If its not relieved then the cause may be some other.
I don't think that any drug could cause any of this symptoms.
Wishing for quick recovery form pain.
