Hi I am now 4 weeks pregnant and the bottoms of my feet just hurt and feel like there on fire and cannot sleep and my legs are jumpy and my sleep pattern is 2-3 hours a night because of this pain. I am going to call my Dr. Today. Curious if anyone else has experienced these symptoms?
Hello, During pregnancy there is increased blood supply to the peripheral parts and as such, you may experience such symptoms. You need to consume enough fluids and vitamin supplements to get relief. Also, try to sleep with some foot end elevation to improve circulation. You can also apply luke warm oil as massage to the feet to relieve the pain. Sleep pattern can be very much disturbed during pregnancy; try taking an afternoon nap if you cannot sleep at night. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
