Hi, I was working on my waterfall pond when i lean forward lifted a heavy bolder rock i felt a pop or click in the middle of my lower back, the pain came on i when to the chair sat down than i started to faint out on the chair and woke up later. I like to know what happened and should I be concern or go to ER? Thank you.
Welcome to HealthcareMagic, As you have lifted a heavy object and are having back pain, it is most probably due to muscle strain. I recommend you to take tablet diclofenac 100mg thrice daily for 3 days, apply heat to your back using hot water bag and take rest for a couple of days. Your back pain should get relived, in case your back pain is not improving then visit your physician as an x ray and MRI may be needed. Hope that answers your question, Regards, Dr.Imaad.
