General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome to HealthcareMagic,
As you have lifted a heavy object and are having back pain, it is most probably due to muscle strain. I recommend you to take tablet diclofenac 100mg thrice daily for 3 days, apply heat to your back using hot water bag and take rest for a couple of days.
Your back pain should get relived, in case your back pain is not improving then visit your physician as an x ray and MRI may be needed.
Hope that answers your question,
Regards, Dr.Imaad.
