Is Pain In Right Side Of Stomach With Missed Periods After Removal Of Appendix Normal?

Hi. I am 5'10 and approx 200 lbs. I had my appendix out one month ago. (No prior medical history besides thyroid surgery 4 years ago.) I still feel pain on the right side and it gets really bad when I use the bathroom. It also hurts when I go down stairs or drive over bumps in my car. I also have not had a period since my surgery. Is this just part of the healing process?
