had substernal thyroid removed 2months ago..pathology came back two 0.8 spots of pap cancer..had i-131 radiation a week ago...never had replacement thyroid drug since operation...lower back and legs are unbearably painful, like toothache or kidneystone pain...hurts worse laying down..is this from the radiation or lack of thyroid hormone for two months? and what can be done to get rid of the pain? extra strength tylenol does not help
Hi, Welcome to HCM. I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Most of the above symptoms could be due to lack of thyroid hormone in your body. You should consult your physician immediately to get yourselves started on thyroid hormone replacements.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
