Is Pain, Stomach Burning, Nausea, Dizziness Due To Bacterial Infection?
Hi, ive been suffering with this problem for 4-5 weeks now, it has worsened within the past 3 weeks.. when i wake up in the morning i have a belly filled with gas which takes me ages to expel and it very painful, i have a burning sensation in my stomach and often back, i also have nausea and dizziness often during the day, my doctor said it was ibs but this seems very random and im wondering if it could be a bacterial infection
From what you refer, I can say that you suffer from acute gastritis. The causes of this disease are viral infections and in some rare cases, bacterial infections. It is also a possibility, that except acute gastritis you might suffer from colon disease.
To get the right treatment you need a diagnosis. To find the diagnosis you need: - Abdominal Ultrasound. - Fibrogastroscopy. - Blood test. - Liver function test. - Stool culture. - Urine test.
You should contact your gastroenterologist and he will determine for the treatment that you need.
I hope you find this helpful.
All the best. Dr. Behar.
