Is Pain Under The Rib Cage A Symptom Of Pneumonia?
I'm worried I may have pnumonia. I have seen a doctor twice and been giving meds for upper respitory infections. Going on week 7 and now i have a slight pain just under my lower rib cage, it hard and slightly hurts to breathe. No energy or appetite but no fever either. I guess, I'm just wondering if I should go back in to the clinic again?
iii. Ask for investigations like . Hb%, WBC for eosinophilia. . X-ray chest for TB, Pneumonia.
PS. Although most of the times, pain may be the result of minor injury or postural changes, however sometimes there may be an underlying medical condition/situation which needs appropriate treatment.

Is Pain Under The Rib Cage A Symptom Of Pneumonia?
** Thanks for contacting with your health concern 1. As you have already visited a doctor twice and the symptom of pain is still lingering thus my approach will be: i. pain could be a pleural pathology. [ask for chest X-ray to exclude pleuritis, pleural effusion] ii. in addition to x-ray, ask for ultrasonography of HBR [hepatobiliary region] for Amoebic liver abscess and Cholecystitis.
