Is Painful Lump In Groin Area A Cause For Concern?
I have just seen my family practitioner 2 days ago and have an appt scheduled with surgeon on Monday..... pain is increasing in groin where there is a lump, (Reason for visit: Cellulitis), I am becoming increasing agitated. Is there any danger in waiting until Monday to have it surgically removed?

Painful lump in the groin is definitely a cause of concern. If it is increasing, then it requires immediate attention. there is no point in waiting for long.
For time being, you can take analgesics which contain diclofenac with paracetamol combination. That should help you to manage pain till you seek medical attention.
You need to get evaluated by the Surgeon for proper assessment and management at the earliest.
