Is Painful Lump On The Armpit Sign For Another Melanocytic Schwannoma?
I am a 30 year old male and I had a Melanocytic Schwannoma removed from my lower back in January of this year. Over the last few days I have had a painful lump in my right arm pit. I thought it was a blocked sweat pore or ingrown hair, but there is nothing visible. Just wondering if I should get this checked by my GP.
Hi.. Thank you for using healthcaremagic. The lump under your armpit could be due to various reasons. Since you have a history of schwannoma, that could also be a possibility. I suggest you consult the doctor and undergo an FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology) procedure to examine the cells in the lump, for a diagnosis.
